The Town of Franklin, Jackson County is seeking qualified election inspectors (aka poll worker) for the November 5th Election and future elections. In addition, we are seeking a Chief Election Inspector which requires additional training and residency within the municipality.
Qualifications:
- Election Inspectors must be able to read, write and understand English
- Cannot be on the ballot for the election
- Be willing to participate in training to prepare for elections
- Must be qualified electors of the county of the polling place (Jackson County)
In addition, high school students are encouraged to apply, but must reside within the municipality (Wis. Stat. 7.30(2)(am.)
Shifts Available: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to end of night (typically between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM)
The current wage for election inspectors in Franklin is $12/hour.
